Actively Validated Services (AVS) are off-chain services or applications that require decentralized operators to perform specific off-chain tasks for the correct functioning of the AVS. AVSs offer token rewards to attract both operators and restakers, encouraging them to provide computing resources and staking tokens for the network and to enhance the crypto-economic security of the AVS.
