Other Restaking Endeavors

Restaking improves the capital efficiency of staked tokens and enhances the security of app chains that were previously less secure. Several ecosystems are developing restaking functions to extend the security of protocol native tokens to their app chains. For example, Near’s Octopus Network [2] and Polygon’s Enshrined Restaking [4] are implementing restaking functions. Exocore enables tokens from separate sovereign blockchains with restaking functionality to support off-chain systems beyond app chains.
